IT ALL STARTED WHEN...

In 1956 the Rosenberg family launched a meat and poultry distribution company for the local South Florida market. Driven by perfection, Miami Purveyors embarked on becoming the purveyor of quality meats in South Florida, providing exceptional service and products to the local chefs and restaurants. 

Six decades later…Miami Purveyors continues its legacy of harnessing innovative techniques to provide premium proteins and provisions to the most discerning chefs, all while maintaining an old fashion butchery craftsmanship. 

The same old fashion butchery has evolved to meet the changing needs of multiple generations of chefs. While being led by the same founding family, the company remains sensitive to the chef’s creative design and innovation, while maintaining the same ideals and values since its inception.

Much like a dish offering a combination of aromatic flavors and vibrant colors, the services that Miami Purveyors provides, from cost analysis to menu building, all result in a harmonious vendor and customer partnership.

Much like an artist, a chef needs the ability to see their vision come to life. Our meat-cut shop meets the needs of the evolving chef and their ravenous foodies. A selection of meats ranging from beef to exotics. Every cut is handled with great care and detail. Our team of butchers beautifully cut to the specifications requested.

Safety Controls and Technological Advantages

Miami Purveyor utilizes a Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) Food Safety and Quality Management System driven by an organizational culture of continuous improvement.  The HACCP Team regularly reassesses all aspects of our system from foundational prerequisite programs such as SSOP and GMPs as well as all elements of the HACCP Plan. Quality control and successful execution of safety guidelines keeps us on track to achieve our mission of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs). Our quality control is facilitated by our on site USDA inspector. Quality assurance and control is maintained day to day by adhering to multiple levels of policies and procedures related to the following processes:

Overseas: We provide our services to many markets. An example of some of the countries we’ve reached are Jamaica, Costa Rica, Cayman Islands, Trinidad, Panama, Bahamas, Virgin islands, ecuador, el salvador, barbados, Grenada, and Turks & Caicos. We are currently expanding into additional countries.

In this division of our business, we have a great deal of experience working with wholesalers, restaurants, clubs, redistributors, and hotels. and Our doors are always open for business.

Our Establishment

For the past 20 years, we  have been the only independent meat cutting operation in South Florida licensed to produce and distribute Certified Angus Beef ® products. 

 

Accomplishments

In 2015 Miami Purveyors was recognized by Certified Angus Beef ® as The Specialty Meat Company Marketer Of The Year.
